Gail M. Bowman has a diversified background that has led to the development of this company.  In recognizing after many years in the industry the need for qualified team Professionals for a "one-stop" shopping experience for Clients that are searching for the "first or next step" in pursuing their Project, this Company was created.  Gathering Professionals into our Group that have weathered the storms,  proven their qualifications and in most cases were recommended by previous Clients has given our new Client the "cream of the crop" to choose from for their Project.  As well as running the Company she is the Lead Designer for A Design Group.  Having earned the respect of the Design community, her restaurants, retail facilities and homes have been featured in many well-known magazines (as shown on the following pages) as well as being the recipient of many design awards.    In addition to her design skills, you may add her Project Management skills as well.  Her experience in the Construction Management department of Lockwood Greene Architects and Engineers in Atlanta, Georgia, as well as her experience as a General Contractor for 35 years gives her insite into the Light Commercial and Residential management of construction projects.  She feels this is a new and innovative Service for those who do not have the inclination, time or experience to manage their General Contractor. Her many years of experience and her knowledge of design, construction and the Light Commercial and Residential real estate market make her a valuable Design, Consultant and Management asset to add to your team.

CAD SERVICES:  This is the backbone of the group...all plans are placed on CAD files, Computer Assisted Design & Drafting by our CAD technicians for neatness, clarity, and ease of working.  This computer format is a valuable asset to our team and to the client.  A free download program is given to each client to enable them to participate in the planning process.  We place the initial plan on CAD and develop it to completion with our client.   An extensive mark-up toolbar makes it possible for the client and our team members to measure, make notes, etc. and share.  Our ideas and the ideas of our clients are then implemented to a workable plan.  The client has become a vital part of the design team to insure the project is just what they intended.    Plans are then reviewed by team members and stamped for approval if necessary.  This service saves valuable time for each team member and therefore saves our customer money.


ARCHITECT:  The credential Architect on the team has worked in the design community for many years designing churches, transit systems, residential communities, retail spaces, and various other projects all over the United States.  He specializes in Architectural Programming, Master Planning and Architectural Design. 


RESIDENTIAL DESIGNERS:  In addition to being the Owner of A Design Group as stated above, Gail Bowman is our Lead Designer.  Since the business has grown other Quality Designers have become members of our team.  You can see the work being developed by our company on the Recent Work pages of this website.  We have a design team that can "make a silk purse out of a sow's ear"  or develop a renovation or new home plan quickly and efficiently that will make you the envy of everyone.  Residential Designer's plans are accepted by all Citys/Countys/States for

STRUCTURAL ENGINEERS:   We have on the team two credentialed structural engineers who are qualified to work in several States.  They are adept at designing the most complicated structural systems, both commercial and residential.  When their services are needed, their participation with the Team becomes essential. 

CIVIL ENGINEER:  Our Team credentialed Civil Engineer has experience and credentials that allow him to  develop both commercial and residential drawings.  He is both efficient and accurate.  In today's market, almost all City, State, and County building permits for residential plans for new homes or renovations that go outside the existing footprint requires a Site Plan that also shows a topography.  The topography alone added to an existing plat of your property is a very expensive procedure with a survey team.  We can develop a Site Plan very inexpensively.


GEOTECHNICAL ENGINEER:  A Geotechnical Engineer deals with the science of the application of geology to engineering.  In many cases he must be used to combine Land Lots and the development of Projects.


RENDERING SERVICE:   Optional renderings can be done by computer or by hand at every level of expense.  Some of our work done for Clients is shown on our webpages at every price level.  We have just added to our team a renderer and artist well known for his creative and meticulous work.  He just tied for 1st place for the Ohio Wetlands Duck Stamp and believe you me those ducks seem alive.  He is completing a rendering for our Frank Lloyd Wright type house in the Cascade area featured on this web site.  Watch for it.


ESTIMATING SERVICES:  We offer you the final decision maker.  When your plans are completed, you have the option of letting us give you a thorough and complete Estimate for the construction of your plans for a nominal fee.  Armed with this Estimate, you can then seek bids on the construction with a general knowledge of your costs.  If our General Contractor/Builder receives the construction bid, your money spent for the estimate is refundedThese services usually are approximately $.50/sf for new homes and renovations are quoted.  It's well worth the expense.


PERMIT SPECIALIST:  We have another valuable asset on our team that deals with the intricate details of obtaining a building permit in our progressive construction industry.  Zoning and Building Regulations change rapidly today and this team is a leader in Permit Expediting to keep you on top of the game saving you time and money.  They save us time and therefore the Client money in keeping us abreast of codes and regulations required for a permit.  They know the employees of all regional Citys/Countys and have developed a working relaitonship with each


MORTGAGE BROKER:  If you've tried to find construction money for your renovation or new construction, you've found it impossible....only Home Equity loans are pretty much available for the construction phase of your  renovation project.  With appraised values of our homes down, Home Equity loans are almost non-existent.  We have found 4 mortgage lenders who will work with our Clients through the construction phase until that loan can be converted to a permanent loan.  We've added a Mortgage Broker to our team who will work with you and guide you through the entire process and is not tied to one lender only.  She's a WHIP!!! We look forward to seeing you succeed.


CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT/CONSULTATION:  This is a service initiated to help the Client who does not have the time, knowledge or inclination to manage their own project and builder.  This service can be implimented to any degree from full managment to an hourly Consultation service.  It is best described in the following link....


CONTRACTOR SERVICES:  We have spent years putting together a Builder/General Contractor team for our Clients.....one that assures quality work at the best possible price for all types of projects.  Although not obligated to accept our bid for the development of your plan, we think you probably will.  This part of our team comes to us through referral of Clients that were pleased with their work, sometimes not one, but several Clients.  Our Builders/General Contractors are LICENSED and INSURED (Workers Compensation, General Liability, Pollution Liability), BONDED, EPD CERTIFIED (Environmental Proctection).


INTERIOR DESIGNERS - We have Interior designers and decorators to aid in both Residential and Light Commercial projects.   When our plans are "imagined", we attempt to place conversation areas, seating areas, etc. and in the Architectural planning must know what we feel the client will use in any given space.  The client's spaces are designed by simply designing the project....but the interior designer or decorator "puts the icing on the cake".  They can help select paint colors, furnishings, window coverings, etc. and guide the client into a great end result.
